From 1993 to 2001 there have been 448 FWIN projects, stored in a
database at the Cooperative Freshwater Ecology Unit, Department of
Biology Laurentian University, Sudbury Ontario.
These projects are being used to
develop regional benchmarks and to discover the effects of the following
on variation in walleye life history by collaborating with a number of
government and university researchers:

- Genetics (MSc candidate
University of Windsor)
- Fish Community (MSc & PhD
candidates at U of T)
- Individual variation (MSc
candidate at Queens University)
